We should see plenty of commercials the next few days on the local stations trumpeting how their weather guys saved us from the white hand of death and should all get raises.

Unfortunately, closing the NASA facilities and letting the kids out of school, all at the same time, did create a terrible traffic problem. My Camry got stuck on a couple of hills because traffic was at a standstill.

Exactly! Thank You.

For some reason everybody left early, despite the fact that WARM and SUNNY weather was forcasted for late afternoon. Meaning if everybody had stayed at work, none of this would have been an issue.

I heard the arsenal tried to stagger letting people go, but everybody just went anyway.

Snowmageddon!! Seriously, is it really that bad there?

I guess I shouldn't be surprised - NoVa tends to shut down as well
