FairTax.org will be conducting our next Volunteer Training Session in Huntsville, Alabama on Sat., Nov. 17th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

This training is for anyone wishing to become more effective as a FairTax grassroots organizer in the community. The Training Session will be conducted by leaders who have worked countless hours in their own communities in North Alabama and Georgia. You can expect a discussion on how to present the basics of the FairTax, as well as how to organize your grassroots community by writing letters and having a “MeetUp”. There will be discussion time on how to handle some of the most common questions and objections when you are talking about the FairTax with your family, friends, neighbors and co-workers. Join us as we join others from Alabama, Tennessee and Georgia to learn and discuss the benefits of the FairTax.

A $20.00 Suggested Donation to attend but NOT required. Please RSVP! Seating limited to first 100 - first come first serve. Contact Carolyn Palermo at cjpalermo@comcast.net or 256-457-4262 for details.

Note that Huntsville's own "flashpointblog" is one of the best political blogs in the state.

It is in fact an Alabama political blog. As for one of the best... Well, the bar must be pretty low!

You're right, there aren't many political blogs in Alabama

But no blogger covers local (Huntsville / Madison County) politics as well. I did mention some other Alabama political bloggers in this thread:
