Yea, and put it on the north end of CLR, i.e. Old Railroad Bed Road in Taft!

Hey I can dream!

I never knew there was a such a demand for senior living centers out this way. Just what we need, more Buicks clogging up CLR.

Considering how many families that have and are moving out that way, it seems only logical for senior centers for the grandparents. Cause really, mostly everything is in Huntsville.

By the time you're in a "senior living center," you've had your Buick car keys taken away from you.

The plot of land on the west side of County Line, north of Lena Cain (in front of the Oxford subdivision) is shown as sold. Any idea what is happening there?

Boring, but the Semblar site shows Tire Discounters coming to the Kroger development at County Line and 72.

Possibly mentioned on the other development thread, but I've heard Wendy's is coming in on the corner lot near James Clemens.

I heard the same thing, but I can't find anywhere to confirm it. We really need an uptick in sit-down restaurants on County Line, maybe that will start happening.

Agreed. Would be lovely to have a Bonefish or Olive Garden out that way.

City of Madison really needs CLR to build up with properties that generate sales tax money. Assisted living (on CLR and US 72) pays property taxes, but I imagine doesn't pay much if any in the way of sales taxes. And the Madison Hospital on US 72 as a non-profit, doesn't pay either.

Meh, I keep hoping for a Discount Tire, but sadly it appears they don't want to come to AL.
