They have New York, Detroit, and Sicilian style.

Big Ed's and Yellowhammer are the best places for pizza in Huntsville. Mamma Mia's takes a close second. Do not even consider Mellow Mushroom. Poor excuse for pizza.

I just read the Huntsville Lede's version of the article (al.com author)...
"Madison Pizza Joint takes top prize in Las Vegas Pizza convention"
"Congrats are in order for a Madison County pizza joint..."

Well, it isn't in Madison. I think it might be just inside the Huntsville city limits that stretches out that way. And, it isn't in Madison County either.

Good to know. Went there a few times but didn't go back. Average at best. I'll try it again. Thanks.

Isn't Yellow Hammer - Earth & Stone?

Also very good, but for me, Valentina's is #1 in the area. Tortora's was up there as well.

But Grimaldi's - a chain from Brooklyn is opening up in Jones Valley, and that is one of my all time favorite pizza places out of the hundreds I've been too.

Alabama pizza joint takes top prize at Vegas pizza convention

Valentina’s Pizzeria & Wine Bar
25951 Huntsville Brownsferry Rd
Madison, AL 35756

It gets a little confusing. Valentina’s is clearly in Huntsville's city limits. It has a Madison address like a number of other businesses in the same situation like Madison Walmart Supercenterr #5703, 8580 Hwy 72 W, AL 35758. Most people probably think it is located in Madison even though it is located within the city limits of Huntsville.

If it wasn't for Mata's Greek Pizza in Anniston, I would say Valentina’s was the best Pizza I have had in Alabama.

IMHO, they are equally as good.

Speaking of Pizza, I used to Love Godfather's Pizza.

Does anyone know if the one in Florence is worth the drive?
