Yeah, maybe a bit harsh. Sorry! I just can't see someone willing to break up their family for fear of choosing the wrong temporary living.

Yeah, maybe a little harsh. Still why is it hard to sell a house from 10 hours away? That's the realtor's job.

The only thing the seller needs to do is arrange for continued maintenance. My parents recently sold their home from across the country.

Besides that, from reading these posts, it doesn't sound so much like someone concerned about selling their house as much as it does someone who simply fears moving. Someone who's seemingly incessantly trying to convince their husband to stay where they are, while he seems intent or decided to take the new job. That's a rift between their life plans, not the logistics of moving IMO.

All the stress is just the manifestation of something deeper down (not necessarily with the marriage, but definitely their direction/plans). It's really not THAT hard to pick a place to live in Huntsville.
