Tropicla Storm Hanna, has formed from TD 8. I figured since the current projected path puts Hanna heading towards or near Florida then I should create a thread for it.

Looks like this one is gonna be a hurricane, in a few days. While all media attention is on Gustav & the RNC convention. Florida residents be weary, media will hardley even mention this storm approaching the Atlantic side of Florida. there is a 70% chance you will be looking at a hurricane, maybe Jeanne like.

Tropical Storm HANNA

Well it seems the upper level low (ULL) to Hanna's west seems to finally be moving. Hanna has gone from a naked swirl to quite a blow up of convection. Something to certainly watch in the coming days....

While Gustav is in the news keep a keen eye on Hanna. Looking at this mornings track it looks like Hanna like Fay will dump some water on FL's east coast and make land fall at about the GA-SC state line. Heads up everyone. You may see some more serious flooding over and up that way.

Hanna is really starting to ramp up now that Gustav is no longer affecting her.
Also notice what is behind her TD #9 and heading due west plus there is aother strong low right behind #9, The Altlantic is really heating up.

Yikes.
We could be feeling Hanna (and her sisters) in the coming days.

I live in Orlando, FL. There is still so much flooding left over from TS Faye. Entire neighborhoods between us and the coast that are still under water. We sure don't need Hanna or anything else until we dry out some.
