The new 2015 Sonata has been revealed. Many of us over on the Hyundai forum aren't very impressed by it (compared to the current model). They sure seemed to make it bland IMO, and I hate the dash.

I think it looks like a very clean design while not as outlandish as the current generation Sonata. It's more grown up and should do well.

I really like the current model, and seriously considered buying a red 2.0T SE two years ago, but ended up buying a 2 yr old Vibe to eventually give to my daughter instead, for about 1/2 the price. I would still like one, but I don't feel this new design either. Chances are I'll end up with a Mazda 6, especially since they still offer it with a manual in the upscale models.

You should consider Accord or Camry.

It looks Ford-ish.

The front kinda looks like the new Mazda 6. I don't mind it, but prefer the older style.

Can't say I see the resemblance. This car looks like an evolved version of the current Sonata's styling, with sharp lines similar to the 2015 Hyundai Genesis.

Nice clean design, but IMO they swung the pendulum a bit too far from "overstyled" to "a little too bland."

If Hyundai makes Genesis it's luxury brand. You will see a lot more on the road.

No, never liked either of them. Not really something I would own or drive. I've driven a 5 speed 5.0 Mustang for over 24 years, and prefer something with some sport to it. The only reason I was looking at the Sonata and the Mazda 6 is because my wife wants my next car to be 4 doors, I liked the performance and gas mileage of the 2.0T, and a friend has a new Mazda and really likes it. I drove the manual trans Mazda 6 and it was not bad IMO.
