Perhaps because I was the first customer of the day, the order-taker was in an EXTREMELY good mood, joking, complimenting my looks (that's a stretch!), and just totally going beyond what you would normally expect. Almost to the point of being uncomfortable, but who could really complain about that?

I will probably go back during a different day and hour, but, bottom line, not overly anxious to do this soon.
How was the cost for you got, pw72?

Thanks,

Pricing for 5 Guys, for example: I picked up dinner for the Mrs. & I on Sunday evening - one double burger, one regular burger and one reg. small (read: large) order of fries, to split, was $11. With drinks (if eating in) you're probably looking at about $15. A bit less than Red Robin, but comparable.

Small cheeseburger, (not that small, really), reg. cajun fries about 6 bucks I think. A little more than most burger places, but comparable.

Well, I'm sad to say that Pettelino's is no more. DW tells me that they closed within the past week or so. Wish they would've had more than a couple of months to get things going - just bad time to start up a business, perhaps?

Another one bites the dust?

Grandpa's BBQ on W. Broadway is no more. Don't know if they just relocated or left IF altogether. No sign/note on the door, and the restaurant area was cleared out.

If they simply relocated, and anyone knows to where, please drop me a DM.

If they closed, unfortunately I can't say that I'm overly surprised. While the seating capacity was about 20-25 people, we never saw more than 6-8 people whenever we dined there. Too bad, though. Was looking forward to getting some down-home red beans and rice on Wed. night and was sorely disappointed when we pulled up to a dark & empty shop.

Just noticed that your post was dated more than a week ago. I just happened on their (former) location this Tuesday and noticed. Back to Heise we go

I did have a client tell me that there was a pizza place in where the Pizza Hut used to be on Anderson, parking lot of old Fred Meyer and across from the backside of the current Fred Meyer. I said "yeah?" and she tells me to try it and let her know how it is

It's called Lucy's and they future NY style pizza. Haven't been in there myself but have driven by the past 3 days during the lunch hour and have seen about 2 dozen trucks there each time - popular with the work crowd!

Then it must be reasonable in price and somewhat decent. There are other choices.

Another two lost...

According to KIFI-8, both Iggy's & Okie's Burgers & Chili are now both closed. Wow!
