My husband is also looking at going to EIRMC, transferring within the company. We lived in Idaho Falls about 12 years ago when our children were younger, and really liked it. Now my youngest is going into 7th grade, and my two oldest will be Seniors in high school. Our only reservation about moving is how will the kids fit in as we are not LDS? When they were younger it was not a problem at all, and I really loved the people in IF, very welcoming, generous, and considerate. If I felt out of place, it was because of my own issues, not because we were not made to feel welcome. Quite the opposite! I have heard that in school, if your child is not LDS, then they will be left out of a lot of activities, and friends. Does anyone have any experience as far as this goes? As I said, this is our PRIMARY hesitation in relocating.
