I'll bet it's a deputy Sheriff. We have a bunch of them who patrol the county's hinterlands.

Probably a mistake on my part--of course the Bonner Ct Sheriff's office is in Sandpoint, but the Daily Bee mentioned in the first article that the mayor of Clark Fork and the sheriff were against it, so I jumped to conclusions about a Clark Fork deputy sheriff! I'm still not hip to some local facts . That'll get better! Thanks for the Q!

I'm so glad to see citizens standing up for their community.

The highly educated citizens of California just voted to release more criminals with the promise that the really violent ones will stay locked up. The claim was that it will save taxpayers money.
