We took a long weekend and went to CDA last week. It has been a few years since we were there.
The improvements to HWY 95 a much welcome relief. It was a massive construction project last time, and this time it only took a few minutes to get up to Farragut State Park from CDA.
The village on the river was nice, it wasn't there last time either. The hotel, a Springhill Suites was newer and the staff was happy to serve. I'll definitely try to book there again.
The park down by the resort (I can remember its name) was a big improvement, last time it was just a parking lot. We just hung out by the city beach at sunset and had a couple of adult beverages.
I got to turn the phone off for 4 days without having any work issues. That unto itself is a vacation.
By the time we came back to Boise, we were telling ourselves that we need to get up to NID more often. I think we'll make it again this summer probably.
