Pop is a Northwest word I associate with Washington state in particular, and Oregon and Idaho as well. It’s not characteristic of California at all; we say “soda” throughout the state.

Nah. Unless you mean, always in Idaho. I've lived in CA from birth (1969) until now, and it's always been like this:

No, we've always called it pop, CA and ID.

I may have posted this before but the pop term originates from older folks selling the drink in the earlier 20th century bars and restaurants. “Give me a soda, pop”. However this definition has been challenged. But that is what keeps the topic alive!

OK, I am not questioning you, but you are an outlier.

My brother and sister-in-law were both born and raised in California but moved to Seattle as adults. When they started saying "pop" instead of "soda," I knew they'd gone over to the other side.

WhenI grew up in Idaho in the 1950s, it was always either 'soda pop' or just plain 'pop'.
No one ever called it soda except at a soda fountain. (The drugstores still had fountains back then.)

Guess I will bring up a few others; since moving here trucks etc have been called outfits, plus when its time to hit the grocery store I'm then "going to town".

But back to the op question. No there is really no Idaho accent. It is American west, which is the same as Chicago for the most part.

As stated previously, we are pretty normal. There are two thoughts on how to pronounce Boise though. Boy-zee verses Boy-see. I prefer that latter.

It isn't like going to Pittsburg where they have their own collection of truly unique words.
