Was wondering if the leaves had started to change color towards Palisades (basically anywhere between IF & Alpine, WY). We could only find webcams for Rexburg and Alpine, and both showed the area as still being pretty green. We'd love to just jump in the car and check it out, but didn't want to do so without knowing whether some color changing was occurring.

The Weather Channel website was a great help last Oct. when we were planning our road trip across UT, WY, MT and ID. We found the info to be pretty accurate, generally speaking, but of course eyewitness accounts are better!

Just about all of Eastern Idaho appears to have starting changing colors about 2 weeks ago, Palisades appears to have peaked this last week due to the snow/wind we had this week knocking most of the leaves out of the trees before they could add more variety to the color. There was still some color to be seen up there as of Friday, but not as much as could have been seen earlier in the week.
