Maybe I'm not as observant as you are...I have not noticed any snowbirds loitering outside Home Depot, clogging ERs, spawning anchor snowbirds, demanding welfare, driving sans license and insurance, murdering (on average) 13 citizens daily, spreading disease, trashing neighborhoods, sending untold billions of dollars to foreign nations or rioting in our streets while waving foreign flags.
I guess I'm gonna hafta watch these snowbirds a lot more carefully!

Well, no one asked them to cross the state border into our state. As far as I'm concerned, you're an invader if you come from anywhere else and move here. For them, it's a temporary situation, so they don't contribute any tax monies. They pay taxes back where they come from, even while they're down here, but we get bupkes.

An American is allowed to travel into any state they wish as a citizen of this country, so no they aren't invaders. Snowbirds spend a lot of money in the states they vacation in, so yes they do contribute tax monies to those states. What is your problem? You're getting off topic here. This forum is about illegal immigration, not our citizens.
I'd advocate 50 separate Disunited States myself. If you come from another county--you're not welcome here.
I don't care if you live on the other side of the bridge, people need to stay out of my neighborhood unless they have business there.
If you live in Humboldt Park, you shouldn't be moving to Cicero--or vice versa, You could conduct business, but those people don't want you there otherwise.

Food costs more, alcohol and cigarettes cost more. So they come here where it's cheaper. I'm not racist in my approach to immigrants. I don't even want those from another county (not country, COUNTY) coming here.
