And they have gone way past asking for it....they demand it.
How many Americans can afford to stay home and take care of their children? They are now living the American Dream that has been TAKEN from our citizens.
That’s what boils my blood. They DEMAND, not ask. How do they live in a country illegally, and demand ANYTHING?

In the article it says:

"I'm very frustrated," Jimenez said. "At the end, you just see yourself as trapped."

That's not a good way to live...they should be returned (or deported) to their homeland and set free. We have no right to keep them trapped in America...

The less educated don't think about how they are going to feed their broods. We even have our own poor that do that. However, they all know that the taxpayer will take care of them so why should they care?

They should spend less time in bed and more time on attaining an education so that they can support and feed themselves and their future families.

You bring up a good point. Considering that most illegal aliens arrive here from Mexico, a study found that unwed Hispanic women have the highest fertility rate in America:

Here are a couple of quotes from the article:

...."Every 1,000 unmarried Hispanic women bore 92 children in 2003 (the latest year for which data exist), compared with 28 children for unmarried white women, 22 for unmarried Asian women, and 66 for unmarried black women."

...."The consequences of family breakdown are now being passed down from one generation to the next. “The problems are deeper and wider,” says Ms. Berry. “Now you’re getting the second generation of foster care and group home residents. The dysfunction is multigenerational.”

Article | Surge in Birth Rate Among Unwed Hispanics Creating New U.S. Underclass

Allowing the creation of an "underclass" culture in America is not a good thing...
Why would criminals expect that their victims grant them empathy?
Im sorry, I didn't read the article...did the article actually state that these illegal aliens were expecting or demanding empathy? If it did, I stand corrected; and will go back and read the article.

Seems to me, incomprehensible that ANYONE would demand empathy. Empathy is sought, and given be those, that willing to do so.

They break our immigration laws and expect us to feel sorry for them.
This was the quote from the OP...My question to the OP and to you is- Do you really believe that these illegal aliens are seeking pity, sympathy, or empathy from those that despise their very existance in this country.

I take it that you believe that they are not only just seeking it from those that despise their existance, but demanding it. Wow

Um . . . what? If you didn't read the article why are you commenting on it?

The entire article is all about the sympathy illegal aliens expect from the taxpayers they steal from and their anger said taxpayer aren't grateful for their very existence.

A few quotes:
Quote:

"You'd create a whole underclass here," Leopold said. "You'd create an underclass of people who were permanently ineligible to participate in the country, akin to something you have in Europe. . . . It would intensify and increase the undocumented problem we have in the country."

Quote:
"I don't want to take them to a country they don't know or to a country where they would suffer from hunger," said Jaime Hernandez, who works as a welder. His wife has worked as a field hand and a house cleaner and has ironed clothes. She now stays home to care for their children.

As U.S. citizens, their two youngest children are enrolled in KidsCare, the state's public health-care program for children.

The couple said they realize that some people don't think the children of illegal immigrants should receive public benefits, but they disagree. They said they are raising their children to be productive members of this country.

If that's not a plea for sympathy what is? They brazenly violate our laws, demand we look the other way and tell us that we can't do anything about it.

Worse, tell us we're awful people for even proposing to do anything about it.

We have been inundated with illegal alien sob stories, designed to pull at our heartstrings. Do you not read any of the posted articles? Their exceptional arrogance, and lack of anything remotely resembling gratitude or humility, is common knowledge, unless one has been living under a rock or in a remote cave. The demands of illegal aliens are so in-your-face, one would have to be blind not to see it.
