How does this make it harder for police to do their jobs?
Really.
The police job in reality is to apprehend criminals.
Also to protect & serve.

Illegals are criminals.

It doesnt. All that was aready in place before is still the same. All the bill did was put what was already in practice on the books.

If they are fully doing their jobs this wouldn't be an issue. We have two sets of laws, one is implied.

Police departments have repeatedly said that being required to take on a federal responsibility will further splinter a system already buckling under the weight of local public safety issues and limited funding.
