Perhaps more of the bulk of European immigrants settle in those areas. You can't argue with the statistics though that prove that there are more immigrants in this country both legally and illegally that are from Latin American countries.
So is anybody from a foreign country allowed to visit America and spend American money here? Because that's what you're proposing. If somebody from Mexico who has legitimate reasons for being in the U.S. (business, tourism, etc.) shows his or her Mexican ID, he or she would be denied the right to buy anything?

No, I have to have a passport, Mexican travelers do to. I kind of like the idea. If I use a CC I have to show id. I don't have a problem with showing id, neither should someone on vacation.

This is a tired and old worn out false argument. Only 3% of illegal immigrants are picking crops. The other 97% are doing jobs that Americans need. The growers/farmers are passing little to nothing onto the consumer in savings. They are pocketing the profits. They in turn along with other employers who hire illegal immigrants are passing their social costs on to the taxpayer. Nothing about illegal labor is a plus for regular Americans.

As Oldglory stated, they do not share their savings with consumers. In fact, my grocery bills have continued to skyrocket during the past several years. Only the dimwitted would believe if illegals leave our lettuce would cost $10/head. So, save the hyperbole and scare tactics for the naive.
BTW, how did we eat prior to illegal immigration? Who picked our crops? And, how is it possible that the majority of crop pickers are NOT illegal aliens?
I would be happy to pay 20 bucks a head for lettuce if it would just keep them out of the ERs
