"I've been here for five days. They came and dropped me off here. They left me here and never came back. They said they would come back for me," the man said. Maldonado said they had to open an overflow room to accommodate the increase in people seeking refuge. "Many of them just got here with what they have on. A lot of them need clothing ... shoes," Maldonado said....."My plan is to go to Houston and go to work so I can help my family back home. I got to do that so we can have some money," the man said.

The situation for the homeless was already bad enough; this is outrageous. How dare our government allow these people to remain in the country and leech resources from one of the most vulnerable, needy cohorts in American society instead of sending them back to their home countries?

Not at all surprising because they aren't given Section 8 until after they give birth to an anchor baby and for many that can take up to a 9 month wait.

The government does not hate you. It is a "system" and systems do not have feelings. But it (the system) certainly does not care about you. By that, I mean it is not designed to care about you. It is designed to perpetuate itself.

The sole purpose of a government is the perpetuation of itself. And it will walk over (even kill) those who challenge it or get in it's way.

This is a system that is not only broken, it is out of control. It is killing off our old people, either with worry or with staggering costs associated with being old. I could go on and on, but who would listen? Nobody cares. The whites have given up or sold out. The minorities are in control at all levels of government. And everyone just seems to think everything is going to get better.

To live here is almost laughable, and I weep for those who gave their lives in the past 250 years, because freedom is gone and it is only a matter of time until the whole thing implodes.
