Minutemen return to the border / March 17 / Sonoran News

Quote:
TOMBSTONE – On March 15, Minuteman Civil Defense Corps President Carmen Mercer sent out an e-mail message proclaiming, “High Alert for All Minutemen.”

Her message began with, “Obama cuts border security funding and freezes hiring of new Border Patrol.”

She wrote, “The Minutemen are returning to the border – locked and loaded – to say, ‘You are wrong Obama, America comes first!’”

Oh boy: I hope that cooler heads will prevail or there may be a flashpoint between the Minutemen and drug cartels. Read that US LE needs to really start coming down--------------hard on illegal aliens since so many of 'em are drug mules.

Wow! I had a feeling something would eventually happen. Illegal immigration is totally out of control, and citizens have truly had enough. The longer it takes for the government to enforce our laws and secure the border, the greater the chance for violence. This is only the beginning. Next, we’ll hear of other citizens taking matters into their own hands. Not good.

I hope cooler heads prevail as well. Last thing we need is the unlawful shooting/murder of an illegal alien becoming Obama's poster-child for Amnesty.

Hopefully Perry will be able to do something more with the TX National Guard.

Honestly, I expect it, and, I commend the citizens willing to risk their lives to keep the scum out. We've had the Mexican military escorting drug smugglers. Enough is enough. When government fails, the people must do the job. It's really sickening the government is not doing its job though. We pay the government enough to at least get a secure border in return.

I viewed a video today where Minutemen were being attacked, unprovoked, by a crowd of 60 or so "protesters" on the border (about 2 months ago). The video was in response to a call from other members needing help. It was a violent scene until they saw the camera. Very scary indeed. But as mentioned above, one death by an American not OF an American (crazy) will spark a swift movement in the WH, although I seriously doubt Americans are anywhere near entertaining the idea of amnesty for criminals. This has been coming for a long time...

The drug wars will be the flashpoint IMHO: some idiot loser from SoB will murder an innocent American (or a whole family) here in the USA-----------then 'it' will hit the fan.

hmmm Minutemen with long range shooters like remington model 700's chambered in 300 ultra mag v.s drug smugglers armed with M-16's and glocks?
I would bet a high death toll for the drug mules.

And you live in Mesa! Illegals have already murdered or killed via DUI thousands of Americans over the years, not to mention the thousands more killed in drug related violence. You know there is one drug-related kidnapping per day in Phoenix. The SHTF many years ago.

The problem is too many Americans are fat and happy. We can't even get enough marchers to match the pro-amnesty lobby's huge marches like this Sunday in D.C. The other problem is that we have been sold down the river by the politicians in Congress for decades. They represent Mexico via the corporate cheap labor elite more than they represent the US.

The brave men who hit the beaches in Normandy and the Pacific only to be immediately machine-gunned to death died so we wouldn't end up speaking Japanese or German. Now we will end up speaking Spanish without a shot being fired. Mexicans must think we are a nation of cowards. If you don't fight for your freedom, you will lose it.

Lock and load, Minutemen. It's payback time. I support you 100%. Only wish I could be there myself.
