Richardson: 'Abandon the fence, lock, stock, and barrel'

Quote:
"The Congress first should abandon the fence, lock, stock and barrel," said Richardson.

"It, (the fence), flies in the face of America as a symbol of freedom."

We need the fence to help protect us from the hordes invading from the South. We are at war. Because Washington refuses to protect America by putting the military on the border our police and sheriff's deputies are forced to fight this war on our very own city streets. The border fence helps keep out the invading forces.

But after examining Richardson's personal history, it's no surprise he hates the idea of protecting America from the drug dealers, murderers, child molesters, and economic terrorists that continually sneak across our border with Mexico.

You say we need the fence, but it's Republicans who really did torpedo the fence.

Richardson was only a governor and didn't form national policy, he quit his election bid, so that leaves who did stop the fence.

I guess Republicans hate the idea of protecting America from the drug dealers, murderers, child molesters, and economic terrorists, eh?

A lot of them have knowingly made that choice.

The problem with politics in America today is that our politicians usually represent the campaign finance donations that keep them in office and not the citizens that actually vote for them. Which usually means corporations and other big donors have more to say over our elected officials and how they vote, than the average citizen on the street. Every once in a while a major issue arises that really holds a politicians foot to the fire, and they have to relent and actually vote in a way that best represents their constituents best interests, but not very often.

The fact is governments like illegal immigration. The federal government and state governments. When a business can turn a higher profit by paying an illegal less that the prevailing wage the owner of the business makes more money. In turn he pays more taxes and the treasury in Washington and the one in the state house is fatter because of it. The fact is illegal immigration inflates our GDP. But it's bad for the American people. There are too many down sides to illegal immigration. Our middle-class is shrinking, we are developing a huge underclass, and we have huge problems with crime, disease, and even providing basic services to our own poor.

Politicians like Bill Richardson and those in Washington as well, are selling out the very sole of this nation for personal political power.

All Politicians have been back stabbing US citizens when it comes to the illegal situation we are facing today.. I don't know the answers to the problems but I know a lot of people who are ready to take up arms and become vigilanties to protect their own families and properties.

but you'll never see the illegal-lovers USE the word "illegal" When they say they support .. immigration.. they like to leave out the "illegal" part!
Then again.. if you had your head stuck up some illegals xxx.. you'd only say immigration... they just can't seem to spit the other part out,, "illegal". must leave a bad taste in thier mouth.. I can understand that.. look where thier head is at!

The republican candidate Ron Paul believes all illegals should be kicked out, yet does not want to secure the fence. He is a contradictory figure.
