People who vote based on scare tactics tend to live in the places least affected by them, going back to 9/11. They envision a boogeyman because they don't meet the people being targeted on a daily basis.
Because we are all one country. All interconnected. What's so hard to understand about expecting them to obey the law and come in the legal way? Or do you just need more illegals to do your laundry and mow your yard under the table so you don't have a pay a living wage and you don't have to pay employment taxes? See how easy that is.
Because it affects all of us. Federal taxpayer money is being used for housing, healthcare and education for illegal immigrants. If we want to help someone, it should be our veterans, our elderly and our own poor people, not people who are here illegally.
And...we have laws. Why would it be okay for someone from another country to break our laws?
Uhm, because it DOES concern me, it concerns all of us. That's why sanctuary cities have to be closely examined and made to heel and abide by the laws of this country. Arrogant a holes like Rahm Emmanuel and the leaders of San Francisco are detriments to the country, not just their home cities.
Whenever my tax dollars are in play, it does concern me.
