Trump on Dreamers: We'll 'work something out'

How does it feel to be lied to and betrayed, Trump supporters?

If this is actually true then yes we have been betrayed. The next logical step would be to grant their parents amnesty also because we'd be hearing about the "separation of families" weeping and wailing. I pray with all my heart that this isn't going to happen.

I swear, you Liberals are the very face of hypocrisy..... This is exactly the kind of thing that Liberals should be praising and willing to work with Trump on, but instead of doing the right thing, Liberals are more interested in ideology and partisan politics.....

It's pathetic, to say the least.

I feel sorry for people like you.

Hopefully, it's pay a HUGE fine and you can stay. Otherwise, GET OUT!

I'm thinking more along the lines of telling them that if they ever want to be legal, they have to go back to their country of origin, and then create an expedited process to get them back in. For "dreamers" only.

Of course then you're disrupting their life needlessly, taking them out of their careers and forcing them to start over again.

It's a difficult issue, but I think as far as "dreamers" are concerned, especially those who've been productive in their time here, something can be worked out and common ground can be found.

That's why I suggest having them pay a huge fine. They took from this country for decades. I'm thinking $100,000 would be a starting point, and maybe more as the details of their situation warrant.

Not all $100,000 up front. Put them on a payment plan. $10,000/year added to their federal income tax. Can't pay it? GET OUT!

I don't really care if they stay if we make it so they can not take opportunities away from Americans.

Oh boy am I praising Trump for this. I just love throwing it at the faces who voted for Trump thinking that he wasn't just another politician. He's already flip flopping on his positions and he hasn't even been sworn in.

He's said all along that humanitarian in him will work something out, we all knew his stance and couldn't be more proud of this great man.

Eh, everyone that runs is a politician and I expect them to act as such. Hillary was such a horrible candidate I just voted on the issues instead of looking at these two.

If he starts going back on his promises he'll be a one term president, simple as that. I'll vote democractic if they put up someone moderate that's not a lying, crooked, power hungry, condescending narcissist.
