At Sunday night’s Oscars ceremony, actor Gael García Bernal told the worldwide audience, “As a Mexican, as a Latin American, as a migrant worker, as a human being, I am against any form of wall that wants to separate us.” Iranian-American engineer and entrepreneur Anousheh Ansari (the first Iranian to go into space!) read a statement from director Asghar Farhadi, whose film “The Salesman” won the foreign-language Oscar. Farhadi, who decided not to attend the event due to the Trump administration’s travel ban, said, in part, in his statement:

Trump takes the “shackles” off: Mass deportations begin as the world looks on in outrage - Salon.com

Uh; you people are flaming hypocrites since word is Mexico AND Iran treat THEIR illegal aliens like dirt.

These actors are ridiculous. There are no refugees or illegals at the Oscars or their lavish after parties. There surely is a locked door and armed security at these elite events. Keep getting paid thousands of dollars while being out of touch with reality and trying to put your opinion ahead of ours.

I agree...these overly rich pampered and spoiled hypocritical 'Stars' live in their big fenced in million dollar houses in closed gated communities with armed guards to keep away the peasants (including illegals) while looking down their noses at the rest of us.

Is this the same Oscars that have multiple barricades, guards, and a chain link fence keeping out the common folks?

There will be no mass deportations. Only those who've committed "serious" crimes. He's also talking about taking away medicare from low income families.

Again, the illegals win.

Why limit deportation to those who commit serious crimes?....any illegal alien who commits a felony should be subject to deportation.

Low income families aren't on medicare.
As far as I know no one is talking about taking away medicare or Social Security. That is fear mongering by liberals and nothing more.

Trump's own people like Gen Kelly have been saying no mass deportations. John Roberts, a reporter on Fox, said he got some kind of note indicating that Trump will probably announce legal status, but not citizenship, for illegals at his joint sessions address. Watch it tonight at 9m ET.

So a person - not the leader of a country - makes a statement that he is against something, and just because it is done in his country - he is a hypocrite? How about if he also speaks out against that same thing in his home country?

Suppose too that the person speaking out against a wall, does not have a similar wall in his home country?

Since there is NO Mexico-Guatemala wall, what part is hypocritical?

They need to do something to stay busy, the constant false rage gets tiring after a while.
