This is pretty nuts. Do you think the federal government might be able to punish these people for blatantly hiding and assisting known law breakers?
Kind of pathetic it's only about 30 New Yorkers considering there are so many millions of liberals in NYC.

___
Since Donald Trump's election as president, about 30 New York City residents have met regularly with dozens of Latino immigrants living in the country illegally, offering them their help and, in some cases, their homes. Many say that if the immigrants are detained or deported, they would be willing to take in their children.
"I have enough space," said Ruth Silverberg, a college professor who shares a two-bedroom apartment in Staten Island with her grown son. "I may not have a lot of walls, but I can go buy one of those Ikea partition things and I can manage to find space on my floor for up to 10 people."

It is actually nice to hear that at least a few of these Liberals are backing their words up with actions even if they are a bit misguided.
We usually have these Lefties telling us what we should do but they don't take their own advice.

So what is going to happen when these people take in the poor illegal aliens and they rob them in their own homes? Women and children are one thing but how about a 20 year old dude with a neck tattoo he got in prison and a death stare?

I recently heard a cool saying that is so true. " A liberal is actually a conservative that hasn't been mugged yet"

All we have to do is enforce the law: Aiding, abetting, harboring, encouraging illegals a felony

The laws are in place for a reason, and never has the reason for the laws we have been so obvious.

Yeah the problem now is that both illegals and liberals take the law as a joke because of the pathetic enforcement .

I'm guessing they aren't that worried about enforcement if they are showing their unblured faces and names .

I do not believe that people should do this. Not only are they breaking the U.S. laws, they are forcing their families into becoming accessories. Especially the folks who have now identified themselves in a public forum like a newspaper.

They may want to review the laws before doing this, the link to the laws posted up thread by Anywhere Else, post #3, is very explicit. Anyone considering this should really educate themselves.

Many are so petulant about Trump's Presidency, they (blind themselves) to half of most truths: (violent) protests, (illegal) immigrants, Sanctuary cities (for law-breakers), Electoral college (vs California vote count), self-indulged entertainers (vs reality), (failing, un-) affordable healthcare, (corrupt, intrusive) government service, etc.

I suppose this dishonesty makes for a good (but, fake) press spin -- which panders to those who 'think' only with their emotions, instead of looking at facts.

They want to harbor the illegals so that they can get their lobbyist perks from their corporate and global donors.

After theses pols are bought and paid for, they have to shill, and use any tacit, illegal or not, to get the needs/ desires of their "bosses" accomplished.

They also believe that the minority groups that they protect/ support will be a life long voting bloc, keeping the lazy ar$e, on the take...pols in office.

Problem: Things change on a dime regarding politics, remember when African Americans were strong republicans? Why?

"The party of Lincoln ", that's why...
