They are separating families and creating a heightened atmosphere of fear where many undocumented immigrants are retreating from society — avoiding work, not taking children to school or to medical appointments, and not reporting crimes.
A few lawsuits will force them to back down and better use their resources to target hard core criminals rather than illegals with no criminal records. DHS must use common sense enforcement and view the members of the community, including illegals, as partners in protecting our country.

Lawsuits over what? Illegals are in the country illegally, and can be deported at any time.

You keep posting the same thing again and again based on your "feelings". I am not sure where you get your ideas from, but they are completely off base. We already deporting more than the hard core illegal aliens who have committed very serious crimes unless they are hiding in sanctuary cities and picking up whoever else they get lucky enough to come across.
I suspect most of the crime they are witness to is crime by other illegal aliens as they tend to "flock" together making for an easier catch.
Illegals are a plague to our country, and now that the facts and figures are out there, there is no going back to pretending they are not. This will force even more politicians to either get on board with enforcing the law or ending up in the unemployment line.

It IS common sense. Remove those here illegally, that broke the law.

Living in this country illegally should not be easy and is what has lead to the current problem we have. The common thing we have heard is " how do you deport 20 million people". Now you know. In addition to increased self deportations you're also cutting off some of the reasons for them to come here to begin with.

So, as an accountant, do you feel if you break the law at work and this is the only law you broke that they should ignore it based on "otherwise law-abiding", and how do you think that would work for you? Should you be allowed to remain in your community because you might see a crime and testify against the criminal? Does that actually make sense to you? What laws should we enforce and which ones shouldn't we? Anyone might witness a crime and be able to testify against the criminal, thus let's free the over 2 million US citizens in prison as I am sure many of those will return to cities with high crime rates. What you say doesn't compute in "real" life terms.

You mean the same common sense schools and liberal teachers use in suspending students for shirts in their Year book supporting Trump?
