It's terrible that happened. Just goes to show how our government has failed us. Their lack of enforcing the immigration laws has pushed some to the point of hateful, illegal and immoral behavior. I think all illegals should be sent home but I certainly don't condone beating anyone up, legal or illegal, black, brown, white or poka dotted.
We can blame a lot on the goverment, but when it comes to immoral and hateful behavior, then each person needs to be held accountable for their actions and that could be their mindset on how they were raised, but it is still no excuse.
Listen, I am a believer of securing our borders, just like anyone else. These savages should be in the back of a jail cell immediately, and do hard time. The man, whether or not he was legal or illegal, has no right to be treated in this fashion. We are still a nation of laws. These two are guilty of battery, if the witnesses corroborate the story. Blame our politicians who are insulated inside the comfy confines of Washington D.C., who outside of a few, such as Tancredo, are fostering this environment, through inaction.

Very true Mike on all accounts. I find it difficult for any reason to go out of their way to harm another person. I never have had a problem securing our borders, but that does not mean open season on illegal people or people others decide they are illegal without knowing for sure.
Must have been an AWFULLY ambitious guy, to steal BOTH their jobs. Why don't we keep HIM and deport THEM?
Seriously, a disgusting story. Hope these guys get 'the full treatment'. It would be nice also if they could be put on a chain-gang work detail...a job nobody could 'steal' from them.
Does anyone think those two 'zitheads' ever had a job to steal.....this one AIN't the governments fault in any way.....it's mommy n daddys fault and the two zitheads fault.....
I rank them as "NO BETTER THEN" an illegal.....all are lawbreakers.

Nowhere in that article is immigration or immigrant (illegal or legal) even mentioned - so what does this story have to do with immigration? The victim could be born and raised here - as a matter of fact, from his comments, it seems like he is a native English speaker.
The "Stealing our jobs" comment has been used all through out the immigration debate.

Just as I feared..it's MULTICULTURALISM GONE MAD !!.....it's NOW so bad that even LEGAL RESIDENTS are "stealing our jobs"!.....
I read the article; those punks also stole some property from another kid so they were obviously 'equal opportunity' criminals.
Needless to say: said teenagers need to be punished accordingly------and, their Spanish surnamed victim, if illegal, also needs to face the consequences.
Agree. When laws are broken, consequences must follow.
