I wonder how many stolen identities they've found in the 7-Eleven raids.
My girlfriend had her SS number stolen and used by an illegal in Texas.
She is a 60 year old woman retired from teaching who has always lived in CA, and it took her 3 years of constant battle to convince the IRS she was not working hard construction in Texas.
Where my wife used to work several Hispanic citizens and legal Filapinos had their ID's and SS numbers stolen (presumably because they all had Hispanic surnames) and were told by the IRS that they didn't report all their income. Illegal aliens had used them to gain unemployment benefits. The rightful owner's of the SS numbers had delays in getting their income tax refunds because of it until it was straightened out.
It's not disgusting it's what should be done. Working as a non-citizen or resident is illegal and the opposite of honest. Immigrants who worked hard and waited in line to get their papers deserve those jobs, and tax payers deserve their contribution to the tax rolls
Agreed. What's disgusting is continuing to allow illegal immigrants to work for less, thus cutting the wages of Americans and LEGAL immigrants.
"U.S. economy adds 148,000 jobs in December"...according to some recent data.
wonder if it is unwise for the trump admin to deport "free" workers out of this country. the US may well soon need to pay for overseas workers to come over to work and support the growing economy.
I've seen this first hand in vacation towns. Crackdowns on undocumented workers plus lack of willing college students has led to lots of temporary workers from S American and eastern Europe.
It isn't always putting an American out of work when there are not enough local residents to fill the jobs.
For what? I can’t turn them in when a law hasn’t been broken. We have an idiotic law that says their children are citizens, and as far as I know, there is no law against going to the hospital when you are in labor.
We need to change the law so that they don’t come here in the first place.
As long as they are here, my only real obligation is to treat them.

True, which is what migrant work visas are for. There aren't enough Americans willing to pick crops for minimum wage, so they have special visas for Central Americans to work the fields for a couple months then they go home. Legal, win win

I saw a special on this. Your girlfriend is lucky it only took her three years. And I'm not being sarcastic in saying that.
And yet, the people who are cheering these raids will profess their "deeply-held religious beliefs" to also target other populations. They think Jesus would carry a gun and approve of these raids.
Jesus was a Jew and had his own chosen people. He was not against people defending themselves or their children. He was not against people making a safe place to live...safe from savages and criminals.
Jesus would not require that we allow every dreck into our country.
Have many marked ICE vehicles just cruse slowly through a subdivision under construction....
Watch for the runners on the perimeter.
