I just saw a Gen Z nurse complaining because there is a measle outbreak in the "newcomer" shelters in Chicago since most aren't vaccinated and refuse to be vaccinated. Gen Z is even waking up as she complained about the fact that our kids need vaccinations to go to school and many work places wouldn't let you work unless you had gotten the Covid vaccine. Even they see how stupid and two faced our gov't is. There is hope for the younger generation!

Alas, as with every generation they have to see it for themselves. They won't believe the "old folks" who try to warn them.

How much are illegal aliens costing us.

Data from June 1, 2023, through December 31, 2023, shows that Florida spent over $566 million to provide care for illegals.

It will definitely have an affect on entry level housing, so that won't be getting any less expensive for poor Americans, but as an investment low income housing should be great!
What else? Good, bad or indifferent?

This is why I have been saying that REITS and other major real estate companies are also behind Biden opening the borders. Its not just the cheap labor crowd behind illegal immigration anymore.

Yep, if you can't learn from your parents and family, you can always chime into the DNC

I read an editorial that was written no less than a week ago in a western Kansas newspaper. The writer blamed higher food prices on problems finding labor. The inability to process food due to the lack of immigrants to do the work. If you have ever made the drive in that part of the county you know they know what they are talking about. They rely on the large custom feedlots, and beef processing plants for the local economy. One plant I passed in a small town had over three thousand cars in the parking lot. I was told they are all Mexicans. The problems at the border comes down to lower food prices or higher food prices.

Every industry is behind open borders. The US Chamber of Commerce isn’t shy about it either.

The elephant in the room is that capitalism loving conservatives are playing dumb to the reality that it is our current capitalist form that demands all these people, regardless of anything. The capitalist market as it stands has vetoed any concern with whom and how many foreigners enter the country.

This is the Democrats greatest weapon, and will eventually cause the rise of socialism. Ironic tragedy, indeed.

Pro-illegals no matter what generation don't care to listen to the wisdom of the elderly on this issue. They have a selfish agenda and a vested interest in it. They call us racists and old farts (especially if you are white) and behind the times who just don't like change or immigrants in general when that's simply not true. I don't mind lawful change via legal immigration and for those we actually need that can support themselves and be a blessing on our society not a burden and a desire to assimilate into our society.

We don't need "immigrants" for baby making either and in fact we'd be much better off with a declining population. An overblown economy is not a true measure of a healthy and happy society. Cheap foreign labor just serves the elite and has no positive impact on our own citizens. All it does is remove job opportunities for Americans, increases our taxes for the social needs of these "immigrants" and creates overcrowded conditions and shortages of affordable housing.
