High unemployment, foreclosures, and corporate misconduct is all you can ever expect in this country.
I beg to differ. Americans are not willing to forgive and forget anyone who screws with them and that includes illegal aliens. Yes, we do get excited when an illegal takes a job from an American, violates our soveirgn border and sucks our country dry. Is that something insignificant to you?

All I can say is that if enough of us keep pushing the fact that we don't approve of (which we have the right to say and feel) and don't want the raping by illegal immigration then our country will have no choice but to listen to us because we are the people who have the right to be listened to. If the country doesn't, we fight. That simple. Once the majority of us (US citizens and legal residents) express our issues with illegal immigration, what is the government going to do? Ignore us and continue to reward the illegal immigrations? If so, that's when we know for sure that something fishy is going on and our rights are being violated, that's when we have the go ahead to bring the ruckus.

A bunch of old hat posters are revising old threads under new names to provide a soapbox for their anti illegal immigration campaign.

There is a constant, new flow of "news" Illegal Aliens are providing and no need for dredging up old.

Pro-Amnesty leaders starting to think Amnesty will not come

Yes. They may have wanted amnesty, but amnesty has never been a part of the legislation making its way through the U.S. Senate.

I think they should be mad at the failure of the amnesty in 1980> That is what killed the amnesty quickly when it came to floor under bush. Amnesty has only increased the illegal entry problem not solved it.

You're splitting hairs on terminology again. Anything that allows them to remain here and not return to their homelands and apply to come legally is amnesty in most people's minds. Our immigration laws are not being reformed either in regards to illegal immigrants.
