Laws should be changed with the changing tide. We are here to stay. Some of us even out-do you. The sooner you recognize that, the sooner we'll live in harmony. Deep down you know that.... you know it for yourself. Times change, people change, everything changes.... going back to the allegory in that old post in this thread... one day your car will become old and need to be taken care of... we'll take care of it. We'll remember... we'll maintain the dream.
Sorry, this isn’t Fantasy Island. But, thanks for the morning laugh.

Then you should be fine with the new laws going up all over such as in Arizona and Oklahoma. Changing tides.
I think the worst part of this story is that he's now a naturalized citizen of the US...Obviously he has no regard for our American laws and considers himself a pioneer and is proud of what he did.

Even then - he likely got in the big citizenship give-away of the 1980s. The past is the past and we cannot go back in time.
Some of the 1980's amnesty actually love the USA and have learned English and are assimilating - obviously not all.
It's like anything in the past whether it was an over-all mistake or not - the past is the past. Like slavery - no one believes it can be "undone", no one believes the descendents of slavery should be sent back - nor do most of them want that.
And globalism has closed down American factories and eliminated the need for ultra-cheap factory workers, American farm jobs are on the decline and account for a very small percent of jobs. The housing bubble has burst, many houses sit empty. There is no need of massive and unlimited immigration - not illegal and not legal. Americans desperately need jobs, we don't need millions of border crashers coming to take what few jobs there are and we don't need to pay them to sit around in our universities so they can take the good jobs Americans also want.
Cesar Chavez had it right - unlimited illegal immigration is all about bringing wages and benefits down to impossible levels. It's not good for the American worker.

Was there ever a thing called American ultra-cheap factory workers?
Globalism hasn't closed down American factories, American management closed them down because the government wouldn't allow ultra-cheap wages......
Wages.........
The current veteran UAW member at GM today has an average base wage of $28.12 an hour.
The average Chinese worker makes less then $300.00 per month and works 6 days a week....

His regard for American law starts and ends with himself.
Pulled over for running a red light? Racism!
Denied a loan? Racism!
Break local and national laws? Pioneer pluck!
