The combination of a lack of jobs due to a worsening economy and an unprecedented series of governmental work raids have got immigrants down in the dumps, according to findings in a new survey.
The Pew Hispanic Center, a nonprofit research think tank based in Washington, concluded that Hispanics across the country, and in particular immigrants, are increasingly concerned about staying employed and being deported.

Your response doesn't make any sense. All the poll is showing is a sense of worry about their current state of being. Why does that equate to you as 'like it or leave it'?
So if natural-born citizens show pessimism about the current situation in the U.S., they should leave too?
According to Pew's annual national survey of Latinos, nearly two-thirds of Latino immigrants said their lives have worsened over the last year and nearly as many fear that they, their relatives or their friends could be arrested at any time and shipped out of the country.
Someone please correct me if I'm mistaken, but it certainly sounds as though these "immigrants" are in fact illegal. Unless the laws have changed, "legal" immigrants would not fear being "arrested at any time and shipped out of the country." Are we now arbitrarily deporting legal immigrants? I guess I missed that memo.

They, their relatives or their friends. Which means any one of the three. Not necessarily the first clause. Which means that its likely common that many people have friends or family who are illegal immigrants.

Hey Benicar, maybe if they deport a few million of us , and with the remittances we send back, it will help bail out the economy.
