I believe the last great wave of immigrants to America should end with those who where the first great wave (unless you want to rebuild the Alaskan ice bridge and tell the Mongols to come across at their own risk, oops, I forgot about global warming) people of the Europe/Caucasus and forcing Asia and Latin America to take in people from the 10 poorest nations on Earth. At about 8 million or so, this would finally settle America on a soft note. Whites here won't feel like their being phased out and we could get a bit of our melting pot back. All opionions welcomed........

As long as there are people and countries there will be immigrants. There will be no "last wave" of them. Immigrants arrive daily in each country in the world, for the most part.
I am definitely White: that stated; better to have legal immigrants 'of color' come here (who have the cultural desire to assimilate) vs. White illegal aliens.
Over the years I have personally noticed that folks who come here legally are much more likely to become good Americans.
All former immigration came in 'waves'.....(it HAD to....it came on ships). Today's immigration sometimes comes by air (in 'swarms'), or across our land border (where, even in the desert, it's threatening to "swamp" us).
Most immigrants are foreigners, and a lot of them talk funny. Other than that, there's not a lot I can add. I do know they do the work Americans can't do....like picking fruit, mopping floors, doing open-heart surgery, and designing computer programs...stuff like that. Some immigrants are almost like Americans, while other immigrants have cultures.

And how many illegal immigrants living in the state of Arizona are actually White ?
