Smart concept. Hmm, why IS IT NOT BEING UTILIZED? Oh, I remember: it's because the bill is somehow racist/xenophobic/bigoted/prejudicial/nativistic/anti-Hispanic/etc.

Perhaps the bad economy will actually force some people to use common sense for the time being.

Yes, the bill is a VERY smart concept. The anchors and pro illegal enablers keep saying that illegal immigration enforcement is a federal jurisdiction not a state. So turning these illegal Mexican scabs over to ICE makes room for apprehending some more illegal Mexican scabs, which can eventually be turned over to ICE and so on. It is neither racist, nativist, xenophobic, bigoted, anti hispanic, or prejudicial. But, even it it was, so what? It's called enforcing the law and sending the message.....GTFO.

Funny: I thought the bill in question applied to any illegal alien--------not just Spanish speaking Mestizos from Mexico.

Within 5 years, all illegals will be concentrated into states designated as 'safe havens'.

It would decrease the prison population & thats a good thing in itself. Who really cares if the "hispanics" cry racist or not. They are a drain on an allready strained system. What I want to know is this? What happened to HB1804 here in OK. Thought the purpose of that was to reduce the illegal alien problem. and yet they still seem to increase on a daily basis. The police still have a "catch and release" policy in OKC. They say OK. has a tough stance on illegals, but, I haven't seen it yet.

Right now we have a bunch of sanctuary cities and one near sanctuary state, Mexifornia with illegal Mexican scabs becoming spread throughout the US. If a lot more states pass the tough on illegals/tough on the scumbag employers of illegals laws, I can see illegals en masse moving to those states without such laws, which will then have become defacto sanctuary states. It sounds fantastic that all of those illegal Mexican scabs will be overwhelming all of the pro illegal lovers in those sanctuary states.

Sorry to hear that. I thought that the tough on illegals/tough on the scumbag employers of illegals laws in OK had caused an exodus of illegals in OK. Maybe the traitorous Oklahoma US Chamber of Commerce is working behind the scenes to undercut those laws?

All of you "anti-immigration" types forget that ICE's total number of sworn officers is about the same as that of the Chicago Police Department, and the jurisdiction is much, much larger. If there aren't enough people to enforce laws, it doesn't make much difference what the laws are....

Us anti ILLEGAL immigration types, get it right, are fully aware that while illegal immigration QUADRUPLED under el presidente jorge, the numbers of ICE stayed the same. Jorge and his handlers, being owned by corporate America, saw little need for more ICE since they weren't going to enforce immigration laws anyway.
