Panel endorses local immigration enforcement bill - KVOA News 4, Tucson, Arizona - (http://www.kvoa.com/global/story.asp?s=10506331 - broken link)
Quote:
PHOENIX (AP) - A committee of the Arizona Senate has approved a bill that would criminalize the presence of illegal immigrants in the state.
The bill would expand Arizona's trespassing law to let local authorities arrest those who sneak into the country. It also would allow people to sue city officials who limit the full enforcement of federal immigration law.
I'd like to see this bill passed in all 50 states. I particularly love the part that allows people to sue city officials in sanctuary cities who limit the full enforcement of federal immigration law.

The sheet will hit the fan, one of these days, and I see it coming soon.

Flip side: if local and/or state laws do not conflict with Federal law--------the former will usually stand in a Court of Law.
Otherwise; why do different States have varying ordinances?
