As Hispanic leaders gathered inside Houston's Alpha and Omega Church to call for immigration reform, protesters clashed outside. One side was crying out for the safety of our country. The other, for compassion toward its immigrants. And both wanted change.

Members of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus are travelling to 23 cities across the country to hold these family unity events. Organizers say they've faced protests everywhere they go.
Tempers flare at immigration policy event at Houston church - 7/11/09 - Houston News - abc13.com

There need to be MORE protesters at these pro-illegal immigration events. That ought to be the expected consequence of supporting criminals, illegal-employing businesses, and ethnocentricists.

It's quite disgusting that are still people who are willing to sell out the country to illegal aliens and their enablers while our economy remains in a recession.

Where's the compassion for the unemployed US citizens who have been laid-off and are having trouble finding work?

Why aren't these people protesting in Mexico? After all, we all know the majority of the people holding these protests are Mexican. Why are they here, in the U.S., demanding better treatment, more respect, more acceptance, more opportunities and equality?

WHY AREN'T THEY MAKING THESE DEMANDS IN MEXICO?? WHY AREN'T THEY STANDING BEFORE THEIR OWN GOVERNMENT, IN THEIR OWN COUNTRY?

The US is.

The US is - the land of the high life for illegals at the expense of those of us who actually have a right to be here. It's their country too. In fact, it seems to be their country more than it is ours.
You're right. They are laying claim to everything Americans built. They want a piece of the pie that Americans' baked. They know they wouldn't get anywhere with their own government, so they're here, self-righteous and demanding. And our government is caving in to them. It's disguting.

Yet those losers certainly do not seem interested in Guatemala--------who also kicked Mexico out after 1821

21 million illegal acts(immigrations w/o papers) have occurred that our government says they somehow missed.
these 21 million now demand benefits and full status in this country.
i think our government has a little personal responsibility here.

So if I set up shop on your lawn, does your house become mine too?

Mexico (or guatemala or belize or brazil or China or Ireland) is their country until they raise their right hand and swear allegience to this one in a legal immigration ceremony.

Ain't no squatters right to citizenship.

What really pissed me off about that video is when the woman stood up to express her opinion about the Pro-Illegal peddling happening inside the church and the Pro-Illegal man was saying "Ma'am Your in Church"..

Maybe this CHURCH should lose their tax exempt status since they are advocating for a political issue.. (as should the Catholic Church and their pimping in favor of Illegal Aliens)..

Absolutely sickening..
