Feds approve Danbury ICE partnership (illegal immigration, jobs, politicians, party)

DANBURY -- A partnership between the city's police department and federal immigration officials that's been on hold for more than one year has been approved.

Mayor Mark Boughton said that while he strongly supports the "important role" immigrants have played in the city's history, the partnership will allow the police to deal with "specific issues of illegal immigration and its criminal element."

The more city participants the better, although I must admit that I'm surprised that Danbury, CT would actually want to do this considering that Connecticut is largely liberal and pro-illegal.

Perhaps some politicians are waking up to reality? I hope so.

Connecticut is more moderate, and most are not pro-illegal. The mayors of a few cities (New Haven, for example) are incredibly liberal but the good people of Connecticut have noticed their mistake of voting for those fools (who are just as bad as right wing nut jobs). The outrage of folks in your typical conversation on the streets in Danbury (I used to live in Danbury) will show that not only are the residents fed up, but they have in recent years become much more pro-law enforcement.

Something needs to be done in Danbury. And fast.

Watch, this right and left thing, is going to spawn another political party, that most of America can relate too and not be lied to to get elected.
