WASHINGTON (JTA) -- Three national Jewish groups urged Arizona's governor to veto a bill that would force local authorities to enforce federal immigration law.

If passed, the bill "would make state and local law enforcement officers' jobs nearly impossible, and would bring us further from, not closer to, the goal we all share of making our communities safer," said the letter sent Monday from the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society, the American Jewish Committee and the Jewish Council for Public Affairs to Gov. Jan. Brewer, a Republican. "It would also cause hardship to countless Arizona residents -- U.S. citizens, legal immigrants, and undocumented immigrants alike -- who if this law is passed will live under a cloud of suspicion and fear."

And there are some people who have the audacity to dispute Kevin MacDonald...

Hardship on "countless Arizona residents"? You mean "making illegal aliens quake in their shoes"? This bill needs to be passed and countless residents of Arizona will breathe a sigh of relief!

An "undocumented alien" is an unauthorized alien pursuant to US Code 1325, "Improper Entry by Alien", who does not have proper documentation. Alien, is used to in this instance, to describe any person here unauthorized whether they be a student, worker, immigrant, or other.

According to our immigration laws they are illegal aliens. "Undocumented" is the PC word used by the pro-illegals to call attention away from the fact that they have committed an illegal act.

Undocumented means you somehow missed signing up for something by accident. Kind of a wrong turn at the counter. Illegal means you did it intentionally knowing it is against the law.

Illegal covers 100% of Adult Aliens here in the US.

Can you provide the US Code which gives illegal aliens the right to be here in violation of the law? In your own words, can you explain why you defend their unlawful behavior?
