Another smart thinking poiltician. Fla is pretty much a sanctuary State! Seems this is a growing issue this election year.

“I support the legal immigration process which has helped to make America a great nation. The legislature should not sit idly by and continue to allow illegal residents to wreak fiscal havoc on our school budgets, our hospitals, our prisons, and our unemployment rate,” said Marks. “Washington’s failure to act has contributed to the fiscal crisis in Florida. The answer is not amnesty for those who have already willfully broken the law and jumped ahead of the line but rather strict enforcement of existing laws.”

“Politicians in Washington have once again let America down by failing to enforce existing immigration laws,” Marks said. “It’s reprehensible that our federal government has no problem intruding into our lives on many levels while it fails to act on its Constitutional mandate concerning immigration. Politicians worried about self-preservation have regrettably taken a hands-off approach to immigration enforcement. Florida needs a consistent conservative willing to take on these tough challenges.”
