PRINCETON, NJ -- More than three-quarters of Americans have heard about the state of Arizona's new immigration law, and of these, 51% say they favor it and 39% oppose it.
In fact, the need for such a law might be spreading to other states.
State lawmakers and others in Texas, Utah, Georgia, Ohio and Maryland are seizing on Arizona's hard-line approach to illegal immigration, which has the approval of many conservatives who say it is necessary in the absence of adequate federal policies.
Why arent we seeing any legislation that seizes all assets of anyone or any business found to be employing illegals?
Talk about comparing things to Nazi Germany. This is as facist as it gets. Let's see, it is racist/facist to ask for ID but it is A-OK to take everything from someone. Wow, just wow.

One of these things includes legalized racial profiling, the other does not.....however, BOTH would serve the exact same end result, and one would do it a whole lot quicker.
Illegals are here for jobs. You cut the employer out, they wont come, period. If you dont punish the employers, illegals will likely still take the risk of coming here, they will just find better ways to hide from your legalized profiling, which will probably serve to do nothing more then harrass legal Hispanics for the most part.
Just another case of the average American dope being duped in to targeting the working class rather then the capitalist.

Arizona also has in place a law making it illegal for employers to knowingly hire illegals.

I agree with you about the employer. If there is no demand for cheap, illegal labor, the illegals won't come.
I don't think you've read the Arizona law - it is completely against racial profiling and will work to make sure that doesn't happen.
Wouldn't matter if the vast majority of Americans support it or not because pure democracy is 2 wolves and a sheep deciding whats for dinner.
The majority according to our constitutional rights and form of government can not deprive the minority from certain fundamental rights. This is why the founders made AMerica into a representative republic instead of a pure democracy.
There will be no special bilingual programs in the schools.
There will be no special ballots for elections, and all government business will be conducted in our language.

They will not be allowed to own waterfront property as it’s reserved for naturally born citizens.
Foreigners may not protest against our government. There will be no demonstrations, no waving a foreign flag, no political organizing and no “bad-mouthing” our president or his policies. Violations will result in immediate deportation, with no rights of appeal.
If a foreigner illegally enters the country, they will be hunted down and sent directly to prison.
I know these rules sound harsh.........And many think they are, but they happen to be the immigration laws of Mexico.
