This Good man has had 500,000 aliens cross his property...and yet has not been robbed once or harmed.
sounds like most crossers just wanted to go by...and this notion that all aliens are blood-thirsty murderous thugs is hard to understand if in 500,000 crossers this gentleman and his family has not been harmed once.
How does a fence stop people w/ ladders and shovels from getting into anywhere?
The fence alone won't stop them but it helps the Border Patrol immensely where the borders are the most porous. A physical barrier is always as deterrent especially the double layed one with a road in between the two fences that was supposed to be built. Also there is a system whereby tunnels can be detected. Border Patrol with bullets is also a deterrent.

Did you watch the video before making such an ignorant post? The man clearly says that he's had 7 break-ins and just one home on his ranch has been burglarized 4 times.
Most of the "crossers" aka TRESPASSING ILLEGAL ALIENS may not be voilent but 100% of them are criminals.

Patrolled fences are good at keeping people on the other side no matter which side they're on. If all of the illegals coming across were unarmed them people wouldn't be murdered on a regular basis by illegal immigrants.

Is that why there is a fence around the White House, to keep the President and his family locked in rather than keeping trespassers out? How about walls and fences around our homes? Same thing?
As I said, the armed military at our border would warn someone to stop before resorting to shooting them. It woudn't matter if they were armed or unarmed. The warning first would justify shooting them if they didn't comply. That is true in all LE incidents.

I 100% agree. You may be a saint, but once you cross the border illegally, you have committed a crime.
