My wife will soon be employed with the college in New Albany, so we will be moving there this summer.

I would LOVE some information on areas of town to NOT buy a house in... or areas that are good. No kids, so schools aren't an issue.

Got any great restaurants to recommend?
Is there a dog park?
What about a good veterinarian?
Or general doctor?

Does that creek in town have walking trails?

Thanks!

I would also suggest asking this in the Louisville forum since NA is a suburb

Best places for houses are north of the hospital (draw a line from there across NA) and just south or north along 265.

Tons of great restaurants both in NA and the metro area. Have any favorite cuisines? The best mexican restaurant in the metro is in NA... La Rosita

There are dog parks in Louisville, but none that I am aware of in NA.

Vet- I use either Ridgeview Animal Clinic or Hillside Animal Clinic for vet or boarding. Both are great and are along Paoli Pike. Stay away from Dahlem... I've heard many bad stories about them.

No walking trails wrt the creek... though it does run through a park. There are trails along the Ohio, though.
