We are planning to spend a month in a rental home with no internet service at the boarder of Carmel and Westfield. As far as I know, all the companies offers at least 3 moths plans. Wi-fi service is not good as we need stable and smooth internet and I had very bad experience with the wifi I used before.
Any suggestions? Instead of going to Startbucks everyday?

Start with the cable provider that services your area. I don't think cable service requires any time-based service contract, so you could just get cable internet installed when you move in and then cancel it when you leave.

If you move around a lot and might have this problem again, you might consider mobile broadband as well. You can get a mobile 3G WiFi hotspot from Sprint or Verizon for around $30/month.

Yes, as far as I know. I'd be really surprised if you had to have TV also.
