We have just moved back to Indpls. We were passing North Central High School and noticed what used to be a very nice house across the street from the school, looks about destroyed with graffiti. I was just curious what happened there and why it is allowed to be kept in that shape.

In that area, I would suspect the house is ready for demolition probably due to condition. The lot would be so valuable in Washington Township that the house can be torn down.

There were two small houses down the street that looked bad. The lots were bought and they were torn down for higher priced condos.

I will be driving over there for a sale on Sunday so will look at it.

If it's the house I'm thinking of it's been abandoned for several years now. I imagine the real estate is tied up and the owner is waiting until the market improves to do something.

I believe a developer owns it, but am unsure of what was planned.
