I am from B.H. Michigan, with a 16yr old son. My job is shaky even though i been there 10yrs. It is a auto braking system. Im looking in the Auto industry or any manufacturer area, Job wise. Looking for not so big town. And is also looking for Rental in that or around that area. Nice Townhouse or a nice home for rent. In need of any suggestions, and Help. Appreciate the good and the bad....

In Indianapolis/city, Washington Twp. and Lawrence schools are very good. Both on the north side of the city. You shouldn't have a problem getting a rental.

Not sure what companies you are looking into ... but best of luck1

Not many factory gigs here. You could try getting on with - who is it - Honda, in Greenscastle. The average high school in the counties surrounding Indy will be safer and nicer than in Marion County where Indy is.

Noblsesville for example has a verrry nice high school and you can live reasonably cheap assuming you can find work around there.

Honda is going to be in Greensburg. Getrag is building a large facility in Tipton.

You might also look at Toyota/subaru plant in Lafayette, or the Toyota plant in Princeton IN because honestly, it seems like factory jobs are drying up around Indy.

Heck, even Ford is closing up shop here in town.

Didn't they are aren't they in the midst of getting the Visteon (Ford) plant to stay open until 2010?

Something like that but it seems to change every few months. My father in law retired from there last year after 40 years so we actually pay close attention to what is going on with the plant.
