I am new to all of this so....I keep getting these pop ups from Internet Speed Monitor. I have read several forums to try and find the answer to my problem. All of them seem to not help my situation specifically. I follow the advise for other people but it seems key parts are missing. Can anyone help me? I am hopeless without direction. Thank you.

Need more information:

Do you have an anti-virus program and are the definitions current?

Do you have AdAware, SpyBot, SpyWare Guard, SpWare Blaster, or something similar?

Do you have a firewall in place?

If you have anti-virus does it find anything and warn you about it? If so, what is the name of the offending program?

I know some of the forums can be confusing, but go through this one and follow all the steps. Wish I could sit in front of your computer!

I would recommend that you download and use Mozilla Firefox rather than Internet Explorer. I had nothing but problems with explorer, but have had NO problems with Firefox! I don't think I have ever had a single pop up with it.
Here's the website if you are interested.
