I don't know exactly what it started and when, but I get those annoying pop-up windows that would say:

"The page at https://www.facebook.com says:
TypeError: undefined is not a function"

with a box below to hit OK, and the another pop-up will appear with a note to check a box to prevent this page from creating additional dialogs.

I did all my cleaning, malware search, Hijackthis evaluation etc. Cleaned cookies, history, restarted computer and all the works. I didn't downloaded any new programs/extensions, or went to check on funky pages. I don't even go to Facebook anymore - maybe once a week, no entries - just checking what's new. I didn't made any changes in settings or updated anything. I checked my Control Panel to see if anything found a way to sneak in.
Nothing: no spyware, no malware, no suspicion programs or adds-on ...
I Googled this problem - no results.
So where that crap came from? It does not pop-up everytime, but often enough to annoy. I don't see any patterns when it pop-up and to what it could be connected.
Anyone experienced the same?
Any ideas how to get rid of it?

Assuming you are using Internet Explorer:
Go into Tools|Internet Options
Check Disable script debugging (Internet Explorer)
Check Disable script debugging (Other)
Uncheck Display a notification about every script error

If these settings change back, you may have to go into Control Panel|Administrative Tools|Services and disable the Debugger Service.

When you install Microsoft Office, be sure not to install the debugger. Debuggers are fine for programming, but a real nuisance when they find errors in someone else's program.

Ooops, sorry! I thought, I mentioned this: I use Chrome.
Disabled JavaScript - will see if that helps

Ha! It seem to work!!

I just wish there is a less drastic approach, because disabling JavaScript changed the appearance of the websites...

Problem still there. I checked everything I could think about. It's insane!
Here is a picture of my screen - maybe someone (please! please!!!!!) will find a solution:

No changes made to any FB settings, except they did something what I am not aware of.
I visit the website maybe weekly, and its not running in background.

When this window pop-up, my mouse is blocked, and I am unable to do anything until I take care of it, and close.
When I close this pop-up, another will appear that has a small check box and a message: prevent this page from creating additional dialogs.

What are you doing/accessing on FB that causes this javascript error to pop up?

When I get those pop-ups I am not accessing FB at all. FB is not even open or running in the background.
E.g. I am searching something using Google, get a list of results, click on the link to read an article, and there - just a second later I see this pop-up. When it appears, I can't scroll, or close the page - I need first to close that pop-up (and the one that follows), then I can proceed with reading or closing the website/folder.
However, not every site gets affected, but I can't determine any patterns.

It's chrome...
Check your extensions to make sure you don't have any junk on there.

Have you attempted re-installing Chrome, or checking your installed programs just to see if something isn't hiding in that area?
