I didn't notice anything worth fussing about. Looks pretty much same to me.
Same here. Just did a search and nothing unusual. A quick search did reveal that google changed how search results look on tablets, but made no mention of any other device.
No change on my desktop (IE11), but different now on my iPad.
Search results are now centered rather than left-justified. The side margins are much wider than need be and the font is smaller. Another difference is that hits are more defined by box-like separations.
The appearance now, which is probably what is bothersome, is that there feels like there's less white space. That has been Google's strongest aspect in my opinion over other search sites - less clutter, simplicity, lots of white space.
I get the idea of centering and having margins - easy to swipe up and down (for right-handers or left-handers). But even for fat fingers, the margins are unnecessarily too wide which means the font has had to shrink.
The above is when the iPad is held horizontally.
Turn the iPad vertically, and it's completely different -- no side margins to speak of and the font is larger (the box-like separations between hits are still there) and each hit's text runs from one side to the other filling up the entire surface. Much less white space and feels cluttered.
Neither version (horizontal nor vertical) is as pleasing to the eye as it used to be or how it still is on a desktop.

Yes!!! It displays this way on ipad. When I tried it on my laptop it doesn't show the super wide borders but has the results in the weird boxes and is somewhat wider.
Google has flipped!! It is SO OBVIOUS that the new changes are geared to favor LARGE advertisers and marketers, just look who/what comes up in the search results.
It is so incredibly visually unappealing and visually jarring that after yesterday's brief experience with it, I thought to myself, "Oh my gosh, I may (for real) no longer be online for hours."
