usig a dell vostro w/win 7 on it
i am having slow web page uploads...constant .... and issues with the system and security tabs-- i get this when i click on any tabs 0x80070005 error has occured
what can i do?
thanks
FWIW, I have headaches with IE 8 on Windows 7, also. Frustrates the snot out of me at times, because it locks up quite a bit and I have to go into Task Manager to shut it down. I don't know what causes it, but I have noticed it got much worse after doing some Windows updates. Why that would be the case is beyond me, but I really wish I could switch to a different browser. But my system is a 64-bit system, and the only browser which has a 64-bit version of Flash is....TADA....IE8. Argh!
bs13690, if I had to guess, I'd say clearing the temp files doesn't fix the problem. It certainly doesn't work for me anyway.
yea it sucks i just earased many loaded files i did not want from IE8 /win 7 ect and then tried again...no dice still slow to 2-3 min response to opening web pages

Side note: Ccleaner does a more thorough job of cleaning the crap.
