I'd like to bring up an article from Alka Singh, immediately after the crisis happened last year
She made good long term predictions - yes, nuke energy has a huge future. But immediate sentiment didn't think like she did.
She covers the nuke sector extensively.

Even if one new reactor gets going, it is going to resurrect this sector. I've also been looking at the spot price. It's currently hanging around 50 bucks. Used to be at 75ish prior to crisis.
I remember sometime last January..... somebody dumped a huge load of spot uranium on to the market and it depressed prices from Jan, Feb all through to March 15, and it was on a bearish trend and the earthquake compounded it to a millionth factor. I've still been digging up info on who could have dumped that spot uranium - it's definitely a major government.
