News is hot about bringing a bank down. The speculation is on BAC already. I don't really bother about what the information is about, but what it can wreak on the DOW or other indices is what I am wondering about.
What is everyone's take on this?
Can it send the markets into a firestorm? What is everyone's strategy around this? Any sector which lies shielded from this stuff? Gold, yeah, but.....
I don't think the Wikileaks site, or it's founder, is going to be around much longer. The site is running out of places that will host it and it's founder is likely going to jail somewhere.

Unlikely to be stopped even with Us government intervention/interferrence in the workings of private companies.
Founder has not be found guilty of commiting any crimes and has a lot of support around the world. Any move to get him to the US would be met with a lot of anger.
Also making this fellow into a martyr. Actually he is in jail in London on what looks to be very dubious sex related charges.
The big banks will not allow Assange to air their dirty laundry.
It has passed Assange by now as he is in a secure protection unit of a London jail. Pretty hard to get to one expects.
Close to impossible to shut down the release of information. Americans should be looking into their own security lapses instead of blaming the messager.
